In the Book of Daniel 10  2 In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.  3 I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

Many Christians are being led to go on a "Daniel Fast" {21 Day Fast} during the beginning of the year and also during The Holy Season of Lent. This is one of the most popular Fasts sought out by believers all around the world.

Many believers want a New Start. They desire to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying about their life. The New Year is also a time of reflection and examination. What could have been done differently in the past year? What changes do I need to make in the natural and in the spirit realm to align properly with God so that repeated habits are not found in the New Year or throughout the year. This may also be a time where we take a deep inner look within and realize how much we need the Father on a daily basis to lead and guide every step we take and every decision we make throughout the year. After all, isn't that what Fasting is all about..... Humbling ourselves before a Holy God, Repenting before him, realizing how fragile & lost we are without his leading and guidance. It is about developing a deeper & stronger relationship, & commitment with him and having our hearts turn back to him. Though this fast is a partial fast that allows a certain amount of foods to be eaten, I personally believe this is one of the most challenging fasts one can partake in ~ notice I said "personally Believe". It can be noted that this is a fast where many have been able to receive notable breakthrough(s).

The 21 Day "Daniel Fast" allowed Daniel to Experience Major Breakthrough!!!
